Kids Gel Plate Printing Workshop
This fun and inspiring art workshop for kids uses home made gel plates, which are printed on to produce beautiful and interesting art pieces. Each child will take away a number of beautiful prints that can be framed.
Suitable for kids between the ages of 8 and 16.
$38 for 1.5hours.
(Maximum of 8 students per session).

3D Crazy Paper Bird Kids Workshop
Wild crazy beautiful paper birds take flight in this creative, colourful and easy workshop for kids from ages 5 to 15!
$38 for a two hour session. Includes all materials.

We are so very pleased to announce that we are hosting a number of "en plein air" events, partnering with the Makers Market Kapunda Kapunda Business Alliance and supported by Light Regional Council
What is "en plein air"?
En plein air is a French expression meaning “in the open air”, and refers to the act of painting outdoors with the artist's subject in full view.
We envisage artists of all levels to participating in small groups scattered around the town sketching and/or painting the beauty and movement of Kapunda. This may include buildings, groups of people, public art each other.
How you can participate:
We will meet at the Kapunda Gallery in Main Street at 2:30pm and then head of in different directions (dependent on numbers) with a guide. BYO your own materials.

Youth Creative Industries Exhibition
The talents of young artists from Kapunda and beyond will be in the spotlight at the Young People’s Creative Industries exhibition. Open to young people aged 12 to 24 years the exhibition is a great opportunity to showcase their creativity.
What are creative industries?
Includes painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, writing, visual arts, graphic design.
FREE to enter! Entries open until the 1st of November 2024.

Your new friend is waiting to meet you! Come along and enjoy a fun, happy little workshop where you will create your own little sock buddy!

Artists from the Coorong
This exhibition brings together the work of Col Cavanagh, Ann Lund, Anita Millsteed and Valerie Sparrow from the Coorong district and aims to shed light on the absolute beauty and inspiration of the Coorong. The artists present their work having drawn on the magic they have found in the Coorong’s vast, rugged and timeless landscapes, its fragile ecosystem, and in the detail of its people, flora and fauna.
Palette knife painting workshop with Rachel Scholich - FULL
Join artist Rachel Scholich for a workshop on palette knife painting at Kapunda CWA rooms, Main Street Kapunda.
$65 per person, booking close 4 May (limit of 10 participants). Tea, coffee and biscuits provided, please bring you lunch and painting materials (refer to event flyer for materials list).

CANCELLED: Gel Plate/ Mono Printing Workshop with Rachel Porter
Please note that this workshop has been cancelled with the intention to reschedule at a later date.
Join artist Rachel Porter at the Kapunda CWA rooms as she demonstrates and guides participants on mono/ gel plate printing techniques. All materials supplied and participants will take home their own print.
Fee $60 per person (maximum 10 participants, minimium of six). Bookings close 2 February 2024.
