The annual exhibition of work by students of Kapunda High School and Kapunda Primary School will be at Kapunda Community Gallery Inc. from November 11 to December 4.
Moderation of completed work by Year 12 students will be on November 18, so the Gallery will be closed until 12 noon on that day. Regrettably, the students working folders will not be available for viewing as these are now sent to Adelaide for moderation.
The free and unselfconscious approach of primary school children in creating art work is an interesting contrast to high school students expressing their perceptions of life and their personal identity.
The Gallery always looks forward to supporting this event and encouraging the next generation of creative people. The efforts and cooperation of teachers and students, of both schools, in setting up the exhibition is greatly appreciated.
