Featuring 2D & 3D works by - Maxine Donald & Mal Craig

April 15th 2012 to May 20th 2012

Two accomplished Kapunda artists are presenting a joint exhibition “Max and Mal's Artrageous Affair”.  Both artists have a Studio/Gallery which are part of the Artists Trail in Kapunda and they conduct classes and workshops locally and outside Kappunda.

Maxine Donald came to Kapunda from Gawler in 2003.  She was very involved with the Gawler Art Society and with establishing Gawler Community Gallery.

Malcolm Craig came to Kapunda in 2009 from the Swan Valley in WA.  He was well known there through his Studio/Gallery, regular workshops and working with the local community.

Approximately half of the fifty to sixty works are new. Mal primarily uses pastels with some acrylic paintings and 3D wire sculptures. Max mainly uses watercolour and pencil but includes some acrylic works. There is a wide range of subject matter, including nature studies, buildings and portraits.  Both are award winning artists with work in private and public collections.
